Example - Formal Workshop Announcement

This formal workshop announcement is designed to guide you in organizing and communicating details for a successful nVeris workshop within your organization. It outlines best practices for engaging functional leaders and key team members to collaboratively identify bottlenecks, explore improvement ideas, and commit to actionable solutions, fostering cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement.

Announcement

Suggested Audience: Typically a functional leader + 1 day to day contributor/team lead per each of 3-5 core functions for the target segment. For initial workshops 8-14 participants is ideal with 2 nVeris facilitators.

For Customer Journey mapping include 2-3 participants that work closely with your customer.

Include end customers and focus groups as you become more mature in the process.

Subject: Invitation: XYZ Segment Workshop

Team,

Following the success of the test workshops led by Emily and Sam - with contributions from several of you - we shared the findings with leadership and are now ready to conduct our first workshop for the XYZ segment of our operations.

Workshop Goals:

  • Collaboratively identify hidden bottlenecks.
  • Explore improvement ideas and test outcomes.
  • Commit to implementing at least one improvement.
  • Gather feedback for future workshops.

Our first breakout exercise will focus on reimagining our process before scoring the current one. This session is about identifying opportunities, not measuring individual or group performance. Our goal is to support your ideas and prioritize improvement investments that address cross-functional challenges.

Event Details:

  • Format: In-person attendance encouraged (travel is approved).
  • Remote Option:  {web meeting link} will be available for those unable to join in person.

I’m excited to be part of this event and look forward to your participation. Please reach out with any questions.

Thank you,

Barbara
